Redefining “Window” Shopping

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

I’m still amazed why Microsoft hasn’t taken “Window” shopping to the next level. Too late, a young company ( well sort of ) has been positioning itself to revolutionize the way people shop. They’ve even trademarked and patented “1 Click” shopping.

If you are looking for a combination of supply chain and marketing innovations, there’s no stronger company than Amazon.com. Once thought of as a place to buy CDs, amazon.com today sells everything from milk to big screen televisons, books to dvds. Too early to call, but I’m betting Walmart is keeping a close eye on what could become the beginning of their worst nightmare.
